It was the first hall in Europe to be built with a self-supporting suspended roof made of pre-stressed concrete. Opened on 29 August 1953, its column-free oval floor offers an area of 2575 m² for your conventions, concerts, presentations, and exhibitions.
The mobile spectator stand – usable for theatre-, banquet-, and parliamentary-style seating – gives every guest a clear view. Sound-absorbing curtains and an acoustic canopy assure the best sound quality for classical and pop music and spoken works. The direct link to the Gartenhalle gives you with the option of combining the exhibition halls to provide a total of 10,500 m².
